There are many ways you can support the Farmington Community Center and be a part of the work we are doing for the community. You can help by volunteering on one of our committees such as: Building, Grounds, Fund Raising, and Ball Field committees. These committees meet to discuss problem areas and solutions to these problems and plan work days to do projects. Whether you come on your own or as part of a group, there is always a job for you. If you’re able to help financially, the Farmington Community Center can greatly benefit from your donation. All funds received are used to the betterment of the Community Center and therefore, benefits the whole community.
Volunteer
The Farmington Community Center has benefited from the hard work of local civic groups, church groups, and company volunteers. We have been blessed by the help of local Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts groups, the Mocksville Master Gardeners, local 4-H Clubs, and other local groups who have completed several volunteer projects.
Volunteer Opportunities for Youth
There is always plenty of work to go around and many projects to complete. If you or your group would like to volunteer, simply call Executive Director, Laura Mathis, and she will find a project that will suit any age or group. For more information on how you can be a volunteer, you may send an email to farmingtoncc@gmail.com.or call - (336) 998-2912.
